The Client.

Rosewood Hong Kong, named the #1 Best Hotel in the world by 50 Best. Guided by the "Rosewood Impacts" roadmap, the property is a global leader in "Circular Hospitality". The hotel integrates sustainability into the guest experience through its "Rosewood Sustains" and "Rosewood Empowers" pillars, focusing on regenerative practices, local sourcing, and community upliftment.

The Challenge.

For most people, sustainability and biodiversity concepts may feel academic, distant, or overwhelming. Our challenge was to transform this perception by curating the Rosewood Pop Quiz - a digestible, motivating, and interactive educational format.

The Solution.

In collaboration with Better Futures, we transformed biodiversity concepts into a high-energy "Biodiversity Pub Quiz Lunch" at Rosewood’s Hong Kong offices. This project covered academic theory, best practices, fun facts and daily operations, making sustainability accessible to everyone.

The initiative was built on two key pillars:

  • Evidence-Based Research: We analyzed Rosewood’s global case studies and local impact reports to ensure every question was grounded in the brand’s reality.

  • Gamified Pedagogy: An intimate atmosphere and competitive prizes made a session where learning was a byproduct of play.

By the end of the session, the team moved beyond corporate silos to see how human life and luxury hospitality are fundamentally intertwined with a healthy planet.

The Impact.

12 Themes

We translated complex sustainability and biodiversity theory into relatable insights covering circular economy, ecosystem services, energy modelling, water footprints, and more.

7 Best Practices Shared

We showcased real-world regenerative initiatives from Rosewood properties worldwide.
